Web Hosting Help Desk Support Position
This is a part-time (20 hours / week) contract position with an opportunity for full-time employment. You will be providing technical support and customer service to our clients by assisting them web hosting plans and services.
- To be successful in this role you will require the following:
- Technical diploma or equivalent
- Strong client service skills (1 year call centre tech support experience is an asset)
- Knowledge of cPanel or similar hosting applications
- Experience with web hosting and understanding of hosting technology
- Knowledge of FTP, DNS, cPanel and WHM preferred
- A good working knowledge of HTML and some CSS, hand coding HTML knowledge is essential with at least 1 years experience.
- Experience with documenting procedures
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in the English language
- Ability to multitask
- Front line support via phone, live chat and email
- Troubleshoot basic web hosting and technical procedures as needed
- Usage of the support ticket system
- Resolving client inquiries in a timely manner
- Performing miscellaneous other job-related duties as assigned
