$12 Locks:

Many of us have purchased a home in our lifetime. Some may have even purchased a new home. This home then represents 25 or more years of savings and payments, and is a place for us to feel relaxed, comfortable and most importantly – safe. What I have always thought odd is that we often protect this new house, which is likely the most valuable asset we will ever own, with the $12 set of locks that came installed by the builder. The most valuable item we will ever own is protected in many instances by a cheap piece of aluminum. Have you ever seen a locksmith force entry through one of those locks? It takes about 20 seconds.

If you look at our industry of website development, many seem to apply the same practice, i.e., here is your new website and off you go – enjoy!
